365 days of "I Do"
I haven’t blogged in yearsssss because I’ve been adulting but I’ve missed this space! It’s been a year since I married the most amazing man and if you know me, sharing about loving successfully is something I’m passionate about. Here are some lessons I’ve gathered in the last 365 days…. 1. Marriage has truly enhanced my understanding of how intimate our relationship with God is. My relationship with God and Christ has deepened. All of a sudden, I get it! I really do! I understand how special the love between Christ and the Church is. I see it, feel it and experience it in the way my husband loves me, prioritises me, makes sacrifices, protects and nurtures me. 2. Love is a living thing that grows when nurtured through deliberate acts of tenderness, care, patience and perseverance. 3. 100% honesty and transparency are important.
